Organic Farming

 All  of the garlic and fields under cultivation are farmed in accordance  with the Canadian Organic Standard.  In 2012 we have dropped  formal  organic certification as we have found the costs prohibitively high for a small farming enterprise like ours. Our farm was previously certified for last several years.
 

We use only OMRI approved products that are accepted under the organic  standard, and in fact few of these products.  The bulk of soil  ammendments that we use are natural composted vegetation and manure.  We  use no commercial non-approved pesticides or fertilizers.  Customers  are welcome to visit our farm or call us to discuss our farming process  to get assurance that we are producing quality organic products for our  local markets.
